IS
Field evaluation is peace of mind, achieved through fast, cost-effective evaluation, pre-approval, and labeling of uncertified electrical equipment. It effects safe installation and operation of new and renovated electrical equipment minimizes risk of fire and electrical damage, delay, repair – and insurance claims.

WHO
Field Evaluation should be considered for unapproved electrical product, with need to manage risk. It is also an option for custom products (with a small run - 300 units per year per model), prototypes, innovations, and tests where set-up costs for certification are not in the budget. Customers in remote areas will be relieved to find FE is accessible for them.

WHY

• equipment already shipped or on-site, or is a prototype
• product volumes of less than 300 units per year
